DIRECTIONS

As you leave Petworth, take the A272 towards Midhurst. Pass through the village of Tillington and you will see our vineyard on your right and a large sign saying Roebuck Estates. Follow the drive to the top of the hill and after a few minutes you will see a sign for Roebuck Estates. Turn right here and follow the track all the way round to the top. PUBLIC TRANSPORT

We are located just a 15 minute taxi journey from Pulborough and Haselmere train stations, with trains departing frequently from either London Victoria or London Waterloo. Both train stations have a dedicated taxi service. We would highly recommend booking a taxi for both journeys to/from Roebuck in advance of your visit, especially if visiting on the weekend. Our recommended taxi providers are:

PARKING

You can park free of charge at the vineyard. It is only a short walk from the parking area to the tasting area; The View. We do not have facilities for coach parking. Please park in the designated parking bays.

CYCLING

You are more than welcome to travel to the vineyard by bike.

ACCESSIBILITY

If anybody within your party has any additional access and mobility requirements, please let us know in advance, so we can support you in your requirements. Unfortunately, due the uneven terrain at our vineyard and tasting area, we are unable to accommodate guests with mobility issues at The View.

DRESS CODE

Although there is no formal dress code at Roebuck, we always advise wearing suitable outdoor clothing and comfortable shoes to make our vineyard tours as enjoyable as possible. The weather could be very warm in the vineyard and so we would advise wearing a sun hat and sunscreen.

WEATHER

We will spend as much time in the vineyard as the weather allows, and we also have plenty of space under cover, so your visit will still go ahead in inclement weather.

CHILDREN

Due to the nature of our product, we do not allow children on our vineyard tours. There will be soft drinks available at The View for drivers and under-18s. DOGS

You are welcome to bring your dogs on a vineyard tour, but please ensure dogs are kept on a lead at all times, and please do clean up after them.

FOOD AND DRINK

Please note, it is not possible for guests to bring their own food and wine to the vineyard. You are more than welcome to purchase our sparkling wines by the glass or by the bottle, either to enjoy during your visit or to take away with you.

BOOKINGS

All events must be booked in advance including free events and are not available for drop-in guests. On average our tours take 1.5 hours allowing plenty of time to enjoy our beautiful vineyard. We require a minimum number of four attendees in order for a tour to go ahead. In an exceptional case where we do not reach this number, we will contact you to rearrange your tour. The timings of the Sunset Sipping events may vary depending on the time of the year and when sunset falls.

CANCELLATIONS

If you have paid for a ticket for an event and you do not arrive for your scheduled booking, then the tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded, unless at our discretion. Any request for a refund or transfer must be made in writing with at least 72 hours’ notice to EVENTS@ROEBUCKESTATES.CO.UK. Tours & Tastings tickets are non-refundable. You can reschedule your tour. However, we must have at least two weeks’ notice to do so, otherwise your booking will not be eligible for rescheduling. If we cancel your booking in its entirety, you will be entitled to a full refund for the purchase price. Tickets will be exchanged or refunded at the price paid for them, but no further compensation will be paid.
