Harvest 2026 has now come to an end.

A huge thank you to our wonderful team, who have worked tirelessly to hand-pick each and every bunch, and bring another year’s hard work to fruition.

This has been a year like no other – from an early bud burst and five heatwaves to our earliest harvest on record, finishing almost a month ahead of the usual schedule.

Now, it’s on to our winemaking team, who’ll be working around the clock – pressing, monitoring fermentations, tasting, cleaning, making necessary additions, and nurturing our beautiful wines in the early stages of the winemaking journey. It’s an exciting moment in the winemaking calendar that will eventually see these grapes make their way from vine to glass.

Here’s to the team, the vines and an exciting 2026 vintage. Cheers!

That’s a wrap on summer!

What a season it’s been at Roebuck. From vineyard tours and tastings to Sunset Sipping and special events, we’ve welcomed guests throughout the summer to enjoy vintage sparkling wine among the vines, set against the panoramic views of the South Downs.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this summer one to remember.

And while summer has drawn to a close, we’re already looking ahead. Our 2027 events calendar will be live soon, with the return of some Roebuck favourites.

Sign up to The Sparkling Cru newsletter to be the first to hear about our 2027 events and when tickets go live.

Harvest is one of the most exciting times of year

Harvest is one of the most exciting times of year at Roebuck, but behind every bunch handpicked and every crate filled is a brilliant team making it happen.

Over the past few weeks, our viticulture team and harvest crew have been working their way across our Sussex vineyards, hand-picking each parcel as the fruit reaches just the right point.

Early starts, long days and plenty of hard work go into bringing in a vintage - and we couldn’t do it without them.

The best weekends start with a bottle on ice - and they just got even better with the arrival of our Classic Cuvée 2020, the latest vintage of our signature English sparkling wine.

Hand-picked across our Roebuck, Little Brockhurst, and Waterlands vineyards in West Sussex, the 2020 growing season gave us wonderfully complex fruit with beautifully balanced acidity.

In the glass, expect notes of baked apple and ripe citrus, layered with biscuity richness and a subtle hint of sweet spice.
