Description

BLANC DE BLANCS 2019
The 2019 growing season provided ideal conditions for producing beautifully balanced Chardonnay. Following an early budburst and successful flowering, warm summer weather encouraged consistent fruit development, while cooler temperatures throughout September and October preserved freshness and complexity within the grapes.
Delicate aromas of ripe citrus and stone fruits are layered with notes of white flowers and toasted hazelnut. Elegant and finely structured, the palate leads to a long, beautifully balanced finish.

FROM VINEYARD TO VINTAGE
The 2019 growing season started well with budburst taking place in early April, thankfully avoiding the spring frosts.
Moderately warm weather at the end of June resulted in a successful flowering and even fruit set throughout. Good weather in August encouraged consistent fruit development and cooler temperatures in September and October produced an abundance of wonderfully complex fruit with beautifully balanced, elegant acids.
Our 2019 Blanc de Blancs was grown and harvested at our Roebuck and Little Brockhurst vineyards in West Sussex.
