Introducing Blanc de Blancs 2019, the latest release from Roebuck Estates. Produced exclusively from hand-harvested Chardonnay grapes grown in West Sussex, this beautifully refined sparkling wine combines elegance, complexity and purity of fruit.
Following partial fermentation in old Burgundian oak barrels and more than five years of ageing on its lees, Blanc de Blancs 2019 reveals layers of ripe citrus, stone fruits, white flowers and toasted hazelnut, culminating in a long, beautifully balanced finish.
BLANC DE BLANCS 2019
The 2019 growing season provided ideal conditions for producing beautifully balanced Chardonnay. Following an early budburst and successful flowering, warm summer weather encouraged consistent fruit development, while cooler temperatures throughout September and October preserved freshness and complexity within the grapes.
Delicate aromas of ripe citrus and stone fruits are layered with notes of white flowers and toasted hazelnut. Elegant and finely structured, the palate leads to a long, beautifully balanced finish.
